We had one of our most fun workouts of the season - it was bike, run, bike run... 4 times! we did about 7 miles on the bike, and 1.5 miles running each time. And it basically meant that each leg felt bad, since by the end of 1.5 miles you're legs are finally feeling ok, then you hop on the bike.
And start into freezing cold strong head winds!! My legs and face where numb for the first half of the workout. The workout was pretty hard, but fun. Especially since each leg only lasts a short amount of time, even though its hard, its easier to push yourself, knowing it will end soon. (and start the next bit of pain).
