I did the 5k version of the 12ks of christmas this morning. It was my first race. It was a nice distance (about 3 miles), pretty easy, and made sure I went for a run this morning. I think I did it in about 30 minutes (maybe a little less?), I'll get the official time tomorrow. I did run the entire time, and wasn't tired at the end. The first mile was all uphill, but after that it was down or flat...
I did get a free long sleeve t-shirt. Yep, that was a lot of my incentive in doing the race.
In other news, my fundraising has caught up to within $400 of my mom's. (She was way ahead of me for a while). So ummm, Everyone should donate now, so I can pass her. Because winning is good.
